The G & E Studios Portrait Process
A portrait session with us is more than just the time you spend in front of the camera. We are committed to providing each client with a unique photography experience that meets your exact needs, leaving you with utmost satisfaction and joy. Our mission is to ensure your vision comes to life with captivating artwork. Each client that engages us as their portrait photographer goes through the same 5 step process, culminating in the delivery of gorgeous artwork that becomes treasured family keepsakes.
1. Complimentary Phone Consultation
We will give you a call to introduce ourselves & get to know you. We will discuss what type of session you’d like to have, and how you would like for your custom artwork to be produced. We will share a little about the average investment made by each client & starting prices for artwork. Based on our conversation, we will provide suggestions on how we can best make your ideas a reality. If you choose to hire us after this consultation, we will email you an invoice with the session fee as well as payment instructions.
2. Session Design Appointment — in person, approximately 1 – 1.5 hours
We will meet in person to discuss more about your upcoming session. Things that we will discuss include:
Props (if any)
What finished products/prints you would like from the session
Finalize Time/Date of session
We will also have some sample artwork that you can experience and hold in your hands. This will give you a better idea of the types of keepsakes we offer. You can also place pre-orders on the spot should you see something you immediately love.
Please arrive at our designated session location at least 20 minutes before the agreed session time. This allows you time to find parking, settle down, and prepare for your session.
4. Reveal & Ordering Appointment — in person, approximately 1.5 hours
We will invite you for an image reveal & ordering appointment within two weeks* of your session. You will view a collection of your best-edited images. Following that, we will work together to select the ones you absolutely love and decide the best way to showcase them. There is no minimum order – you purchase only what you love the most and fits your budget. Payment must be made on the same day (unless arrangements are made), and orders will be placed only upon receipt of full payment. Payment plans are available with full balance paid within 90 days.**
5. Artwork Delivery
You will receive delivery of your artwork approximately 2-4 weeks after your orders have been finalized. G & E Studios offers wall art installation and will see you through to the end!

*The ordering appointment is flexible. Anyone involved in making buying decisions should come to the ordering appointment.
**When payment plans are made, 1/3 is due at viewing session. The balance can be split into up to two additional payments. A credit card number is kept on file and charges are automatically processed on the dates agreed.
