The Heirloom Portraits Style takes you back to your Grandmother’s time. Your child will be photographed using clothing from my style closet – a white shirt with a Peter Pan collar for boys and a white smocked dress for girls. We will capture some great expressions that will brighten any room the moment you walk in!
Child Portraits on Your Schedule
Need to work around nap time? School hours? Soccer or dance practice? Work meetings or travel schedules? No problem. We offer flexible hours by appointment—every day of the week. (If you would like us to come to your home, that can be arranged for an additional investment.)
Little GES Heirloom Headshots
How long will these sessions take? These sessions can be quick and usually done in less than 30 minutes. Of course, all children are different and we want to bring out the best in them. How do we make it happen? Elaine has a love for the kiddos. She gets down at their eye level and coaches them to some good expressions for Gary to capture. Our InStudio Creation Sessions help control the elements and let the kiddos be themselves.
As parents and grandparents, we understand each child has their own personal role to play. We call this the makeup of the family. So how do we get them to respond to having their photo taken? That is a trade secret😊. The GES team has a few tricks up our sleeves and in our pockets.

Why is it so important to have portraits in your home? It has been long acknowledged that a printed photo can boost a child’s self-esteem. When our granddaughter was about three years old, she spent a good bit of time pointing to each picture in our home and naming the members of HER family. “That’s Bubby. That is Mama, Daddy. And that’s ME!” She recognized her importance in the family, and I could see a sense of pride in her little face when she looked at the framed images time and time again. Seeing herself with her peeps gave her the importance of having a special place in this world and belonging to something huge.

Our detailed process includes our in-person planning consultation where we design every detail before we ever pick up the camera and before you drag your family into the studio. We’ve got you through the entire process.
Portrait Session
When you arrive for your photo session, we have everything prepped and ready to go. We know what we are shooting for and where you want to place your images. Your family will see you as a hero for having it all planned out!
Reveal and Ordering Session
Next, our state-of-the-art software will help you choose the best images for your home during the reveal and ordering session. Guessing what size portrait goes best over the fireplace is no longer a part of the experience. Want to see what the image looks like with a mat in a dark frame? We have got you!
Delivery and Installation
And last but not least! Delivery Day is here! We come and professional install your framed wall images! No need to stress over where will you find the time! We have you covered.
